Week 10/2022
The Valencia Comic Fair has been amazing, meeting so many friends, old readers, new ones, colleagues, young people who have been breaking the mold with a tremendous talent and a wonderful charisma, shopkeepers, publishers, dinners with everyone mixed together... and everyone with a crazy desire to see each other again. I had such a great time that I didn't even have time to take many pictures.
Now it's time to go back, catch up with business and all week long to get back into the swing of things, but what we like is what we like.
On Saturday 5 I was on Radio 3's Territorio 9 with Javier Alonso, who did a wonderful job.
I already miss the long after dinner and going to the hotel bar in a pack.
A guy from the Canary Islands brought me a book dedicated by David Muñoz and I fixed it up a little bit.
I sold out all the Dibujos&Mazmorras books I brought, in extremis, the last copy arrived to Florencia, who is better than gold and I could draw a great dedicace.
In this week's Streaming we had Lur who was talking about the fanzine world and how they works hard, it's great.
Now available on HBO in Spain "Le Règne des super-héroïnes" a documentary in which I participated three years ago.
Also the "Sublime interview" in which I was "a night fury" has been broadcasted in Adictos al cómic #19 or as I like to call it, the U-tub of the Basques. (Thanks for having me, Etor and Jaba, I had a great time with you!)
Another week in which I have not been able to watch neither series nor movies or anything, hopefully next week I'll have more time, I'll share with you another process and I'm going to sleep because I can't take it anymore.
The assignment here was to make a new cover for the digital edition of Spider-Man #293, from the moment I was commissioned I knew what I wanted and you can see in the same sketch that is almost the same as the final one, this year I have decided to do them all by hand and with the fountain pen... this job sometimes has wonderful things.
