Week 25/2022
This has been a crazy week, very hot and a lot of work on things that will not see the light of day for a long time.
On Wednesday I went on a short trip to Barcelona for an interview that will be on TV3 in September. I had forgotten how much I love Barcelona and how nice my friends there are.
There's one thing about working for big companies that ends up being a pain and it's exemplified in this video:
This last week we met with Rasen, author of Webtoons who refreshes the concepts we have about the future of comics, also, he is also a very nice guy.
As a thank you for participating in their role-playing days, Asmodee sent me the manual of the guardian of "Call of Cthulhu", one of the games I've played the most in my life and that for me means summer like nothing else.
As soon as I received it I put the index stickers on it because in this house we are geeks but also very organized.
And look at this beauty, what a perfect combo for the afternoons by the pool.
Yesterday I finally finished the trilogy of "Fear street" and I was delighted. When I saw the first two I was left with a certain aftertaste of formula without working too much, as if it lacked a touch to differentiate them from the rest, that touch comes in the third and final film, in that one the whole saga is recontextualized and becomes a very entertaining proposal.
Now, the basics of this experiment are three movies that take place in three moments of the history of the same town with a common villain, 1994, the "present time", 1974, a story that is told to us and 1666, a kind of flashback. I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone, it left a great taste in my mouth.
I was looking at my Ms marvel covers and I'm fascinated by how natural this character turns out to be for me.
