Week 18/2022
The comic convention of Barcelona is the biggest and most special one from all the Spanish ones, I've been going there since 1995 but this year I'm not going since last year there were a few misunderstandings between the owners and the artists, maybe I'll go next year, who knows.
This week I have worked a lot but not in things that can be shared, but I have started to talk with my roleplaying partners and we have started to compile the drawings we collected to see if we can make a fanzine for the fall, and when I say fanzine I mean a cool art book with some kind of common thread, we'll see what happens.
I'm so happy to see the return of a colleague, what a good time I had.
Batman (2022) 3/5: It was pretty good, I was expecting something much worse, it was awful to drag out the ending but I liked the art direction, Patinson reminded me a lot of Quitelly's Batman.
Death on the Nile (2022) 3/5: Good, nice, from some clips I had seen on the internet I was expecting a huge mess but it's nice, normal nice.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) 2/5: I was expecting a sidereal smash but it's just bad.
Russian Doll T2 (2022) 4/5: It's very cool, time travel up to a tremendous loop, very funny.
Shin Godzilla (2015) 4/5: I'm a fan of disaster movies, this is a wonderful one in which the protagonists are civil servants, so at first it looks boring, but it's quite the opposite, treats the audience with sincerity and is absolutely believable.
Euphoria T2 (2022) 4/5: The first season was beautiful as a visual delirium but a bit vacuous in terms of content, in fact, my forty-something self and father did not look favorably on the glamorization of drugs, but this second season is the hangover of the first, the problems of drug abuse, the dark side of romantic love and in general all the issues that in the first season were treated lightly are now certainly terrifying. Visually it is undeniable, in that it is the same as the first season.
